Born and raised in NYC, Poetic Note grew up immersed in the soulful hum of jazz and the rebellious pulse of rock ‘n’ roll, forming a deep-rooted appreciation for rhythm and storytelling through music. In 2022, a chance encounter with a Jackin’ house set at a park party reignited a long-held passion, inspiring her to step behind the decks and bring her energy to the dance floor.

Now a driving force in North Carolina’s underground scene, Poetic Note is known for her ability to push musical boundaries while forging meaningful connections. Her sound—rich with deep textures and heavy basslines—reflects a profound love for percussion, crafting commanding and introspective sets. Whether blending soulful grooves or rolling out hypnotic rhythms, she guides listeners through reflection and transformation.
