13Pieces & Joolz is a dynamic DJ duo based in Santa Fe, NM, and the founders of Remix Audio Bar are a unique space that serves as a DJ school, live-streaming studio, and non-alcoholic beverage bar.
13Pieces has been DJing for over 25 years, earning a reputation as a local favorite and sharing stages with legends like Jay Tripwire, Peanut Butter Wolf, and Aphrodite. Known for his eclectic style, he seamlessly blends Hip-Hop, Techno, Footwork, Juke, House, Drum and Bass, and more. As a champion of both vinyl and digital formats, he coined the term “wax2bytes” during his “Don’t Sleep Santa Fe” live streams, which amassed over 500 recordings from 2010 to 2018. With a vinyl collection in the thousands, 13Pieces is now dedicated to mentoring the next generation of DJs.
MizzJoolz is a DJ, promoter, and dancer with deep roots in Santa Fe’s electronic music scene. Since 1999, she has produced and promoted events, including founding Sol Sundays, a free music, wellness, and arts festival. After years of curating an extensive vinyl collection, she made her DJ debut at Remix Audio Bar in 2022. MizzJoolz excels in spinning all styles of House, as well as dark, Techno under her moniker “A.La. Machina“. By day, she’s a healer and doctor; by night, she’s a passionate DJ.
