DJ Andrea Roberto was born in Siderno, a city on the Jonic coast of Calabria.
From a young age, he started to listen to everything, preferring mostly rock and Brazilian rhythms. After having listened by chance to a compilation, Andrea became interested in figures such as Thievery Corporation, Mo Horizons, Moodorama, Trio Electrico, and Boozoo Bajou.
In a few months, he acquired knowledge of artists and labels that form the panorama of Deep and Soulful House. Andrea started a radio program for a small local station with the intention of having his followers discover those genres that fascinated him. With the originality of his musical choices, he is requested at the best clubs in the area. He collaborates with local magazines, therefore it allowed him to do reviews of albums and artists. After that, he worked for two years at Radio Touring 104 based in Reggio Calabria. It is one of the most listened to radio stations in the South of Italy.
Some of his greatest accomplishments came early. He was ranked third at the DJ contest organized by Vienna’s Waves Festival and Play FM in November of 2012, which is one of the important portals of electronic music in the world. Additionally, he was one of the final 30 in the Emerging Ibiza DJ Competition in 2014.
“Deep In My House” is a radio show dedicated to Soulful, Deep, and Tech House. The show continues to air every week on several different FM and online radio stations around the world. Countries and cities such as the USA, Romania, Brazil, Spain, Greece, Italy, Russia many many more.
