REAL SOUL FOUNDATIONS

Tomie B aka DJ Real’s career in music spans from the early nineties to the present.

She started out as a party promoter and radio personality. Her skills and experience in these areas quickly pushed her into new arenas and honed her DJ skills. A lover of all music genres, her heart and soul were pulled into classic House in the late eighties. Afro, Deep, and Soulful House music are always on her playlists.

Dancing and DJing led to her training on Technics turntables with her mentor J-Mixx from “Urban Sound Surgeon”. Opportunity knocked when The Massive House Mix on WNAA 90.1FM needed a female radio personality. These experiences in radio trended towards event planning, radio marketing, social media branding, club performances, and festival hosting. Tomie currently is the creator and curator of an annual House music festival known as “House Sessions” in at Aggie Park in Greensboro, NC.

Tomie’s brands also include House90.1FM, a show airing every Friday at 2pm, and Saturday at 9pm on WNAA 90.1FM. She is also part of the DJ Collective “Unified Stereo” which airs every Saturday at 3pm on Out Your League Radio via the TuneIn App.

Tomie’s time with the curating “Real Soul Foundations” has always focused on making happy souls dance. Tomie B aka DJ Real is forever committed to promoting unity and love through House music listenership.
